To change director(s) in your company in Tanzania, the process involves notifying the Business Registrations and Licensing Agency (BRELA). Here’s a step-by-step overview of the procedure:
- Board Resolution: Prepare resolution to change the director(s).
- Form 210a and 210b: Download and fill in forms 210a and 210b and complete them properly.
- Log in to BRELA ORS (Online Registration System) using an account that has access to the data of the company and priviladge to change/update them.
- Create a new eservice application, select company > change particulars of a company > enter company number and search > select Directors / Company secretary > scroll to the Director you want remove and click the X > click Add in the Directors section if you want to add a director or clear the details of the secretary to add details of a different secretary
- Click proceed, download consolidated form, get all directors and secretary to sign, upload it back together with the resolution, form 210a and 210b.
- Proceed to payment section and effect the payment. You will need to wait for a few days for BRELA officials to process your application
